 ;D ;D all sorted new temp sensor fitted to the rad,been for a good run and the temp is now sitting at 90 and the heater is now hot not warm, :y :y.

thanks for the replys guys,time for some more investigating and testing today as it in not peeing with rain,going to disconect the fan and go for a spin and see what result that brings then it will be a rad flush,as the heater is getting warmish in the car i am ruling out the hbv at the moment, as it is getting frosty in the mornings i want to gat it refilled with antifreeze asap.

Picked up an omega 2.2 petrol last week, on the way home I noticed that the temp gauge did not get above 75, changed thermostat today still the same temp showing on gauge, cabin heater gets warm but not hot, top hose semi hot bottom hose is  cold radiator cooling fan is running, could this be a sensor problem ??? any ideas anyone as I need to get this sorted before refilling with new antifreeze.

just imput this vin into tis 2000 and got omega B 1996 :), double check you are keying it in correctly :y

morning all, when i turn on the heated rear screen i lose the radio signal, not much of a problem as i listen to cd player most of the time , but  i do belive that if it is fitted it should work correctly, any shed some light on this,cheers  :D :D

just got back from a weeks hols in north yorkshire and over the week and 700 miles the old girl returned 30 mpg,only one slight problem on some of the steeper hills up there when pulling hard if felt like she was missing a beat, all ok on the flat and slight climbs.

If the outside temperature sensor is faulty and giving a incorrect reading will this have any adverse affect on the air-conditioning and the inside temperature selected.
