If you've got a button on the dash that looks like an upside down half of sun (sh1t description I know), push it, then try again ;)

I know that.

And it rarely kicks in, as im not a recless driver, but its sooooooooo slow, and if your an in experienced driver it allows the car to completely go before cutting the car. Is very dangourous if inexperienced drivers try to make a quick getaway from wet junctions.

PS. I take one of my migs drifting on a regular basis, and know both my and its limits.
I never put it into practice on the road what I do on the track, but in my opinion, the device is too slow, which makes it dangerous.

But thats my opinion :y

Have to ask why you want it fitted.

Fugging useless piece of kit. Allows you to step completely out, before cutting the power once you've caught it......not even any good in the wet.....Emergency services will be pulling you out of a hedge and the TC will finally twig :-/

Well remembered Scott!

Map was unbelievably lean.

Get a remap tailored to your car if it's what you really want.
Expect to pay around 300 notes, and go to someone reputable and/or recommended (Read: not Courtney/Regal ;D)

According to the brochures, they were only an option on '96/'97 Tourers.
Anything else, and I suspect there's been a swap involved!

If your worried about the environment etc why not just plumb in a descent catch tank and still vent to the plenum from the tank? Failing that just vent to atmosphere and dump a pipe in a coke can. I've seen both done  ;) after all your only trying to get rid of "positive" crank pressure so don't really matter where it goes
Completely forgot about coming straight to you regarding this one Dave, what you're rally experience........ And since you're coming to terms with the V6 and all ;D

Point missed, I fear.

For air to flow from A to B, the pressure at B has to be less than at A.

Therefore, even at WOT, the pressure in your manifold has to be lower than atmospheric.
I think you'll find it's the target that has the low preasure (i.e. the cylinders themselves). The MAP will be 1 bar at WOT!

If WOT = atmospheric pressure, what causes air go into your engine?  ;)
Because any more would require a charger ;)
