It’s cool DG cos I’ve already done the filter conversion.

Was just curious about any issues anyone ever experienced.

I don’t need to do this job. I’m just bi-curious 🥰

Ps.. though I’ve never had to do this job I often look at those two unions above the oil filter and they just don’t look like they’d come out 🤣🤣

Anyone ever had issues with them? I suppose absolute worst case scenario you’d end up chopping the pipe above the nut and getting a 6 sided socket on it. Just wondering if anyone ever had issue?

A dowty washer is a dowty washer surely  :-\

Find a decent plumbing supplier and take an old one along with you ;)

Fair comment.

I’d always like the correct Vauxhall part in these circs.

But as mentioned might not be available so may have to do that.

What are OOF members doing about replacement washers for all the pipes going to and around the cooler?
I’m guessing they’re discontinued at Peugeot, I mean Vauxhall?

Every time I've seen it with the little needle shimmer, its needed a replacement cluster.

Ok thanks TB. I’ll look out for one. I take it there’s no way of adjusting the mileage to correct on a replacement unit? I doubt they’d making it that simple 🤣

Yeah I’m happy to rip it apart 🤣
Once clusters off where do I go from there?

Omega General Help / Speedo and rev counter not working.

Good evening chaps, hope you’re all well.

As above, speedo and rev counter not working and both needles “quivering” 😱
Temp gauge and fuel level work fine.
No ABS or TC light on.

I’m guessing this is an issue with the instrument cluster. I used to send any cluster away to Ecu testing or BBA but I’m informed they apparently can’t do anything with it.

Apologies if I’ve raised this issue before but it started working again but now it’s permanently inoperative. Is the general consensus to replace the cluster or is there any obvious repair that I can do?

TIA boys 🥰

Anyone know how much for people (who aren’t entering a car to the show) to go and look round. Mum and dad want to go.
