Thanks for the warm reception every one I have a basic servicing knowledge of cars in general so if I can help ill try.
I'm still getting use to driving the omega at the min as it is a big old unit but I have to say I'm enjoying the automatic gear box, starting to get lazy as I get older  Although I do feel 1 more gear would be beneficial as its a bit revvy at motorway speeds.

Just wanted to tip my hat to you all. I've just become a proud owner of a 2001 2.2 GLS in silver i've had the car 10 days now and i'm loving everything it has to offer.
I've just spent 100 quid on it getting it serviced and a new rocker cover gasket and she is now purring like a dream.
very happy with the car and a bargain at 600 pounds.
  would love to hear of any common faults to be on the look out for.
