Hi - well, I know you're right. But it doesn't have to be pristine or a facelift!
I'm still looking though  .. :)

Hi there - after trawling used car websites looking for a good deal on an Omega 3L elite I have finally found this lovely forum. I've just aquired a family and and a new baby and our Ford ka just ain't cutting it with all four us in there with the pram and all!!
I haven't owned a car for a while but previously owned a vectra SRI and a SEAT TDI 130. These were fine but not proper cars! I guy at work bought a 3L elite a few years ago and I was really impressed with it - so much car for the money! Now I've got the family and don't need the daily economy for work travel I want a top quality cruiser with all the trimmings and some serious grunt! Hence, becoming obssessed with the Omega.
So, I'm hoping I've found the right place to get a good steer (sic!) I really, really want to buy a good, fully functioning, reliable Omega 3L elite (preferrably an estate). Unfortunately, my budget is 1k maximum! Can anyone help me? Cheers Darren :)

Yep - obssession accomplished! Just drove home my very own W plate Omega 3L elite early facelift saloon. Fantastic. What a beautiful sound it makes.
Few glitches though, the new indicator assembly doesn't switch itself off automatically and the remote key fob isn't working! Tends to set off the alarm evertime I get in..
Just managed to get a cot in the back though by fold the seats down - wahay!!
