well it seems as hes managed to blow the ecu ,so hes got to get a ecu and i guess a chip out of the key that matches the ecu then he should be sorted , he always has to mess lol , he only bought the car this morning ,it was lumpy on tickover but sound throughout the revs, so he paid £200 less for it, got it home ,checked things over, found the loom to be wrongly routed as it looked like the engines been changed, and caught the main live wire to the ecu not the immobiliser . its a lovely looking estate, an irmscher model with proper tints in the rears, but its sat on the drive now, oh and he found a pipe to be off the inlet manifold but doesnt know if its cured the tickover problem cus it dont run
