Hi Guys, I want to change the oil and filter in my auto box but had one hell of a shock when I went to my local dealers for a filter £73.00. I hope this is not normal. Is there one available elsewhere or has anyone got a spare at a reasonable price.

Omega General Help / 2.2 auto box
« on: 15 January 2011, 22:58:11 »
The auto box on my estate is giving me a headache. It changes fine at first but then goes into neutral and goes back into gear with one heck of a thump. Turn off the ignition restart and it seems to be okay. Would this be the E.C.U. or something internal.

I have a 2.2  omega estate auto CD having a problem with the auto box, from cold it changes up and down fine but when warm refuses to to change down and have to use manual shift which defeats the object, also no kick down works and sport mode cannot be used either.

Hi I have just got my second
omega the first one was a bit long in the tooth after 185000.
I have having a problem with the auto box, the model is a 2.2 estate CD W reg. The box works as normal at first moving through the gears fine but after a few miles will not change down or kick down and I have to shift manually which defeats the object, can anyone help with this.
