thanks for advice, took clocks out and stripped them down. couple of resistors burning out. just need another set now, anyone know who might have a set?

Help, car runs ok but when lights switched on the clocks die & no dash lights also fog light, main beam & indicators light up even though they are not on. then wisps of smoke appear from centre of dash. pull on handbrake & dash lights come on! Turn off lights & all ok again. Anyone got any ideas.

Have found a garage in near my home that does full geometry check. I'll get back on how it goes.

wheels are standard 17", tyre wear seems even. I'll get the geometry checked. thanks for the advice.

Anyone know what the distance is supposed to be for the tyre to the front strut? Car is 2000 elite 3.0 with 235/45/17's. Mine is about 2 fag papers!
