yes oh yes the baby running well.i found a vacum pipe broken on the LPG system so the manifold was drawing to much air.replaced the cam sensor and then found that when the engine is switched from petrol to LPG the cam sensor shows up as a p code.possible because the petrol injectors are turn off and the LPG injectors are turned on.what a headache all sorted thanks for your advise

Omega General Help / Re: Cant get steering lock off... Help please

Before you split the barrel to try and match your key.you should check the wear on the key.as the keys are laser cut and most of the locking and unlocking is done by the remote control.the only lock that wears is the ingnition lock.the key will wear down.so matching a new lock to a worn key wont always work.my advise would be to get a barrel and key and programme the remote from the key to the car.if you do that hide your old key somewhere on the vehicle in case of battery failure.then atleast you can manually open the doors to jump start it   sorry to go on and on :-/

sorry to tell you after you have broken your barrell.but this is a common fault on all vauxhall cars.when extreme temprature changes happen e.g gets very hot or cold weather the very bottom on the barrel locks up so that the key wont go all the way in.i.ve called loads of auto locksmiths out and they remove the end of the barrel and lubricate it.ps im a aa recovery patrol :D
