mine does the same, had it plugged in to tech 2 and no faults came up, a vauxhall specielist told me to change the clocks, as its a comen fault on these bad boys. get them brand new from vauxhalls for about £110 plus the vat. :y

So the air bag light was a completely seperate issue. Did he try and connect to the ABS/TC ECU?
do you no were the ecu is then for  abs/tc? plz

it was propper tech 2 from vauxhalls, even got a vauxhall logo on it, got plugged in under ther footwell on the drivers side.

hi guys and girls i own a w-reg omega elite 2.5 v.6, and when i start the car the rev counter goes up to 7 thousand revs, the car ticks over nice like, but jus the rev counter jumps up. any ideas???
 also the traction control light is on?? any thoughts on that too???  cheer's ;)

Yes, as the filler neck sticks up above the engine it cools faster then the rest causing the oily air in the neck to condensate. Just take the neck off, clean it and throw it in a cubby in the boot then fit the yellow oil cap directly to the cam cover. You only need it when you top the oil up anyway :y

every now and then i get white cream in the breather cap on my omega elite, now its not losing water and its not losing power, i was told by a mechanic from a vauxhall dealer that i no, its condensation. is this true ????

hi there i just got an omega elite25.v6 full leather and that. but just wondering when i brake the car tends to shake left and right or sometimes tends to pull the left when braking. any ideas, thankyou :y
