Many Thanks to you both for the info (and your time), which was spot on on all counts. Unfortunately the tensioner was seized so more costly than just the belt, but all is now running great again.

ON my Omega 2.6 V^ elite the Auxiliary drive belt has just snapped, so would appreciate any detailed info as to how to fit new one. According to an extract from a manual, I believe I need to remove the "Air intake system Pre volume chamber" AND "The secondary air injection system front connecting pipe" first, but not sure if this is correct/all and I don't have any detail or pictures etc...

Hello all, this is just to say hello. I have a 2001 omega 2.6 v6 Elite. Less than 70,000 miles with good history,very clean engine etc, although had head gaskets changed a year ago.
