Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Bose setup on Estate help
« on: 24 January 2011, 19:09:34 »
I have an Elite Estate facelift version with BOSE setup, I have been playing with the setup to find a nice sound but always rather tinie.  I have looked on the forum and found a speaker setup for the estate but pre facelift and it noted that the front should have two large units and two tweeters.  I only seam to hear tweeters on my car so could someone with an elite estate if there should be two large units before I take the door cards off.

Many Thanks :-/

Omega General Help / Re: Filling up help

Ive had this problem in the past and it was the breather pipe on the tank not letting air in and the fuel was backing up it the filling pipe causing the pump to knock off.
You can somtimes tell if this is the problem as after a run when you take the filler cap off  it will make a hiss sound as the air rushes into the tank

sounds like this could be the issue, any idea where it is located?

ok for number 3 i have code 12 and 34

34 i see is injector timing not sure what 12 is?
This is not a cheap fix the sensor on the bottom of the injector pump is knackered this is why it's flat and gutless :(
You could try and get the sensor but you might find it's only available to Bosch approved companys that re-con fuel pumps

No cool, had a quick look re-con injector £250 so need to find something, as I say might just be me I am not sure what I should expect

4 check the fuses, if they are good then the pad is fubbar

Ok Number 2, sensor is on nice an tight but still I get the message, could it be anything else before I replace

Number 4, fuses ok, but I am surprised both bottom and back pads are gone, as to me they look like separate circuits

Regarding number 3 on your list, does it seem very flat up to about 2500rpm and then pick up?

Flat most of the time but I have gone from a quick car so might just be wanting more

Omega General Help / New with a few issues
« on: 10 January 2011, 07:44:23 »
New to a Omega, I have a 2.5TD Elite and have run in to a couple of issues.

1. I need a rear shock for the self leveling system so looking for someone that is breaking a car.

2. I also need a sensor for the self leveling sensor on the front mine has come off, I might try the elastic band trick today.

3.Any info on increasing the BHP and maybe throttle response as the car seams slow to get going.

4. I know there is a common issue with heated front seat but my rear seat (the two seat part) does not work either, proved the switch so any other help welcomed.

Also just an idea of what MPG I should get?

Thanks in advance

Neil :D

New to the Omega a few issues to sort but for the money a nice car.

A few issue people might be able to help with.

I need a front light leveling sensor.

A rear shock with leveling.

Also not to impressed with the stereo, I have an Estate car with Bose sound system but the system is very tinie now real base to talk about, I guess due to size of speakers.  Is this normal or is there maybe something I am missing
Thanks
