Omega General Help / Doors
« on: 16 January 2011, 16:41:07 »
Hi, can anyone tell me if facelift doors will fit a pre-facelift?
No  for the firtsdoubt, the internal trims will be different and possibly the rubbing strip outside. But...will the the hinges & electrical plugs be compatible? Also, my 2.5td has a wierd habit of suddenly losing all power when I throttle backas though it just wants to idle. :-? I,ve noticed that if I dip the clutch, everything goes back to normal. This is most prevalent from starting from cold for the first few miles. Odd or a common thing with these?

Omega General Help / Paint code
« on: 18 January 2011, 13:54:44 »
hi, I,ve been looking on the plate for my paint code and I have Z146. I looked on the list of colour codes as listed on the forum and cant see the number listed there. Does anyone know if this is the right number for a champagne gold '97 as i,m trying to locate a couple of rear doors. Thanks

Yes, originally from smokie stoke, but escaped to sunny Penzance. Hence a 'tugboat' not the usual 'tractor' lol :D

hi everyone, just bought myself a 2.5 tdi 'tugboat' for a general runabout. If anyone can give me any useful hints and tips for this model, I,d appreciate it. Also if anyone has a couple of rear doors that havent succumbed to tinworm in champagne gold, I,m interested. ;)

I think these (wrong) doors may be mini face lift, they have the window switches in the doors, but the black rubbing strips. Afraid I dont know enough to state for sure.
