Hi guys

I have noticed recently mine has started to tramline and was told this could be one of two things

Steering idler

or

Wishbones

Either are not a problem if they need replacing as i want to keep her in tip top condition

My question is how do i go about checking the above issues ?

She went straight through the MOT in Febuary with no advisories

Also a recent EML issue where the light would come on for a few days and then go off turned out to be the Lam senses being to close to the exhaust's which i have been told can be converted as this is a common problem

Why not buy a pump off a breaker on here. I have two you could have - both work fine. But postage would be from Spain.

They are easy enough to change, Three bolts and the wiring loom plus air pipe.

It would seem a shame not to stick with the rest of the system if it is just the pump.

You can use uprated shocks. I have a pair of Bilstein B4's on one car. It seems to work OK.

The pump has packed up on mine and now i'm thinking

1, can i just replace the rear shocks with standard uprated items

2, someone advised to remove the pipe which connects to the shock on the passenger to lower the car by releasing the air left in the pump a little as it sits quite high now (pump issue ?) but i was worried it would lower the car too much as the pump is shot i would not be able to get it back up ?

 By the way its sitting at 715mm now

They are supposed to be different you know, it'd defeat the object if they were all the same 

Not so sure on that one as i borrowed my neighbours one from his Vectra and it fitted like a glove........ only he wanted it back

Failing that, my local ATS had set of them & removed mine for me after a Kwik Fit fitter monkey broke my key.

Thanks for the picture, looks pretty nice. Although it looks as it the tail pipes are pointing upwards...got another picture from a different perspective?

What size are the actual pipes/what size tailpipes did you buy? I'd want something to fit quite snug 

Tailpipes are straight its just the angle of the photo

Trims were 53 mm which fit tight over the standard tailpipes

Personally i think the eternal backboxes are fine, i fitted mine a few weeks ago and its all good, ok i ordered the 3.0 one for my 3.2 and as others know the pipes come up a little shorter but all i did was buy some tail pipe trims and Happy Days
