Thanks Guys you all help so much The picture made alot of difference. Now all I need is a new one . Just spent 2 hours at the scrap yard. The guy said he had one and that it was self service with the keys in the cars. Did they have one Nope I even climbed 3 cars to look, but not one vauxhall had a ignition with a key in it Not happy. But I feel good that a mere girl could, would and did do it. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU XXXX
Looked every where for this hole, but cannot see one. Just to clarify that I am looking in correct place right side below steering column above key barrel. Anyone have pictures?
Please can someone help. I am trying to find out how to change the ignition barrel on the omega. I think it is a 94 model (M reg auto). From what I can understand there is a hole in the chamber, but I can not find it to release the barrel. Please Please help. Direct me to the correct bit as I would very much like to have a car that did not look like it has been pinched.
