Yes, If in Drive it starts in 3rd gear, If I manually select it is jerking between 1st and 2nd.  Very little power all the time.  Won't rev freely but will slowly make its way up to 70 + on the motorway.  Just doesn't seem to want to go beyond 3500 revs.

Omega General Help / Limping Home
« on: 07 April 2011, 15:09:25 »
I've come here in the hope of some valuable advice.  MY 2002 2.2 petrol moggie has had a flat battery.  Once I replaced the battery the car is now running in limp home mode.  A nice local mechanic said the code relates to auto gearbox control module problem, but that I should take it to Vauxhall for Tech 2 investigation.  Has anyone got any ideas?
Any help would be geatly appreciated

Omega General Help / fuel leaking into boot
« on: 08 April 2011, 14:55:32 »
HI All, I have a fuel leak coming into the boot and being soaked up by the boot carpet.  It seems to be leaking quite a bit but I can't find where it is coming from.  I have taken the inspection plate off and all the fuel connections are all dry and dusty.
has anyone got any ideas what could cause this.  I don't want to take it to VH if it is something simple.
Thanks for any help you can give a newbie.  :P
