Newbie Welcome Area / Re: Salutations from yet another newbie
« on: 22 February 2011, 14:24:51 »
I already have a clear idea of the model i am interested in.
Estate
Pre-facelift
Petrol/Diesel
2.5i and above
MOT still current, preferably
Red/Burgundy/Maroon or Gold

Not being too fussy, i don't think. The other details can be negotiated in due course.
I will consider any offers if they meet the above details.

Greetings.
Thought I'd venture into Omega land to see what I'm missing.
Shame I never noticed this forum when I did own one of these lovely cars.   ::)
Just reading some of the posts on this forum make me want to shell out on another one....... :-/

May get one to do up in near future.

May have to pop into Birmingham city centre for some annual st. george's day fare.

The reluctance to go large on this celebration could be for fear of upsetting some other religious folk in some way.

You know what us Brits are like....

We don't like to make a fuss !!!!  :-?

Happy St. George's Day !!!!    8-) ::)

A very sad loss indeed.....

Looks like she went for more treatment as soon as the most recent series of the show ended.

Bring back 'Soul Train', I say.....

Those 2 tubes of Pringles I demolished while watching Norwich batter Forest hardly even registered on the hunger scale, so I topped them up with a 'Godfather' meal from KFC, and 2 cans of 'K' cider.
Not too much product placement going on here....... ;D :y

General Discussion Area / Should I be concerned ?
« on: 16 April 2011, 14:28:39 »
Had a look at an Omega estate last weekend with high hopes of buying it. That is, until I took a look round it.
It was advertised as a 2.5i V6 Elite estate with auto transmission.
I found out that it used to be have auto gears, but it had been changed to manual last  July.
Although the front seats were leather, the back seats were cloth.
The stereo system was NOT a BOSE system.
There was no sat nav system included, even though I was convinced there should be, or is it just the 3 litre model that includes sat nav as standard.
There were other minor niggles, but what really bothered me was the auto box to manual box conversion.
Should I be overly concerned ? :-?

Needless to say, haven't made up my mind about this car yet......

If an op is the last resort, then best to get it done.
Had an op done on myself recently, and i'm soooo glad I did.
I was reluctant at first, but my family convinced me in the end, and now that nagging pain has gone for good.   ::)

Looks ghastly, but that has a good chance of being sold, since there is plenty of time left.
Credit to the seller for all the work done on it, though.... ;)

He is an utter bufoon, an embarassment  :-[ who is out of his depth, lacking any decent level of tact and diplomacy.
Why do we put up with these boorish types?
Sack him, the silly ass >:(
