Sat Nav white screen
« on: 07 March 2012, 16:49:56 »

As I continue to search I've found a 3.2 MV6 with the Irmscher kit fitted. It also has from what the guys saying the colour sat nav screen. Currently he says it just lights up white. Anybody got any ideas. I know it's a bit vague on specifics but that's all I can find out right now

Permanent white screen is normally knackered CID. Car was on the bay a while back in Yeovil, seems strange that new owner is getting rid so soon ???

I can see getting a CID will be a arse unless I buy new. If the car is doing the rounds I'll probably give it a miss anyway. Bum looked nice to

The original e-bay listing had better pics and the pic of the front clearly showed the irmy bumper being a different shade of red. New CID would have to be in "delivery mode" (£3-450) then existing one in car would have to be de-paired (TechII & car pass) then replacement paired with existing HU

That's good to know but I think I've talked myself out of this car. Cheers for the offer  :y

Yep, the major failure on the CID is the soldering ona  very fine pitch connection within the LCD assembly.
