Ze had one for 2 years, and would still have it if the thieving scrotes hadnt stolen it and burnt it out!!
brilliant piece of kit drives like a car, engine as you say can run forever or go bang, reason they go bang?
oil changes are a must every 4.5k miles!! no matter what anyone tells you, read the engine specs and it states there, dealer will tell you oh yes 10k oil changes no problem, well it is!!air filter max 20k between changes, transfer box 50k gearbox i did once a year,,other cpommon reason for bangs is a lot of people chip them, dont!! turn the pump up slighty and adjust the wastegate if you want a fraction, it dont need any more, chipping drastically shrtens the life of this old design engine!! newer did is not much better longevity wise!!
clutch can be a bit weak if ridden, clonks from suspension quite common, ride better with half a ton in the back,
go to Milners and get a polybush kit, for rear springs roll bar, and all suspension joints etc, it then drives like a dream completely silent,handls much better as well, can be heavy on the front brakes depending how driven, rear shocks get tired, eveything is easy to work on,
