Cheap little classic car in Wales.
« on: 09 April 2012, 22:44:22 »

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1966-AUSTIN-1100-GREEN-/190664236811?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item2c64795f0b. It could do with a carpet said which are readily available. Check subframes & hydrolastic. Seller says smoke on start up but engine rebiuld? Looks kike the valve guides need re grinding, only an afternoons work with a cheap head gasket & some hermetite.

Not many MK1 1100's left this pretty at this price. 8)

My old Morris 110 was Trafalgar blue, (1966 too) it was in good nick, but not as good as that. It just needs wheel embellishers to finish it off.   :y

My sister has been using her 1970 Morris 1300 as her only car for the last five years.
They're still perfectly good, practical, economical cars.
