Glove Box droop?

hi guys,

excuse the mrs purse but does everyone else glove box have this much gap between shutting and the bottom of airbag???

How long have you had the car? Has the glovebox handle been replaced? Looks like the glovebox handle has been damaged (common), and the door's been forced resulting in gap.

looks like mine used to be the drop down catches are bent  and the plastic cover over the pins inside has snaped so the the thin metal can bend, can be fixed by taking apart but more easy just to replace the drop down, have taken mine off without takeing the hole glove box out just remove the pins at bottom then open the glove box and push the catches on the inside of the glove box out to the side and come off.
