mig was in the sun all day & the key just would,nt turn. the aa reckons they had dozens of call re same problem today. the aa guy thinks the barrels collapsed tho after gentle persuation he managed to start the car. if he,s right what do i need to do. What do i need to buy a new barrel , will my car pass be needed. i,ve changed barrels before so i,m ok there. :y

would re-grease the barrel heat can make the grease melt and would make it stiff to move.

I wouldn't use copper grease, it'll get everywhere.  ;)

dont use that,the white grease will do, just have to keep wiping key after you take it out can get it spay form cheap good on most things that are stiff or not move.
