Radiator question
« on: 09 August 2012, 11:01:47 »

Hi guys, coolant radiator is leaking from a joint of radiator and some thing screwed into it... :-[ ...Upper thingy is a thermo/fan switch and that leaking thing is about 7 inches bellow it and above coolant drain plug. What's that for? I need to know to order new one and I hope it'll stop leaking from there. It leaks only when engine is cooling down. It's x20xev engine. Thanks in advance, Stan

I went to the trouble of ordering a replacement because i thought the rad had split ... the second hand rad was partially blocked and caused me more than one headache trying to sort out the overheating problems  :( so in a desperate attempt to solve it the old rad was dragged out again and everything tightened up ... no problem after that . Worth a try before you but a new one even though its a pita to get to  :y

Just noticed you have a 2.0 though ... mine is 3.0
