Lost and found girlie
« on: 01 June 2012, 20:09:00 »

Today we have lost our honey 2yrs old daughter in the Tesco hypermarket just for half a minute but this really short period of time seemed to be endless. Then found her at the child book section. She needed a glimps and as she took it did run away at once...My wife and me were really scared although I tried to make up and pretend to not to be. Must admit it was the scariest experience in my life till now. :-[

Yes, it is always a bit of a panic when you lose a young child.  :o

I'm glad you found her quickly and all is well.  :y :y

I'm glad too, my wifey's crying for long hours though...Poor darling. After the event she didn't want to let her sitting in the child-chair while we were running home and of course were stopped by police - road traffic controll as they said . Got away with a quite humanic warning as the place of child is in the safety chair...but it was absolutely uninterested by that time.

Sadly, it is part of being a parent with a growing up child. I don't think you will find there is a parent on here who has not lost a child for a few minutes, normally while out shopping. I know me and my ex-wife did on a couple of occasions with my now grown up daughter.

My little girl who is 22 months old is starting to be a bit of a character at times. A couple of days ago my wife was picking strawberries and told Natalie to take one to grandma to eat, she held it out for grandma, then bust out laughing as she was about to take and quickly put in he own mouth and ate it laughing all of the time.  ;D ;D ;D

;D ;D ;D Great fun !  :y It's fantastic how fast opening her mind for new things and how fast she wrestles off various situations. I had to fit a child-proof lock to the door of the fridge as she loves opening it very much. After third -fourth attempt she managed to open the lock as well. ;D I have no doubt that it was just first in the queue.  ;D
