Our hosepipe ban was lifted yesterday after the wettest drought on record ::)

Yesterday Thames Water were going to announce the continuation of their drought order, unfortunately the official drowned in a 6' flood.  ;D ;D ;D

I went for a swim to take my mind off the terrible drought we're experiencing.

I did 25 lengths of the back garden.

Yep, no hose pipe ban here any more. That's because it's raining so hard it's causing water to leak into their dodgy pipes, so presumably the "low water table" that "will take more than a little rainfall" to replenish isn't an issue any more. ;)

Oh, dear, I'm in one of my cynical moods today. ::)
