A total nightmare for this poor family
« on: 07 July 2012, 20:12:35 »

This is the sort of total nightmare for a family we all hope doesn't happen. :'( The driver of the other car was arrested at the scene for suspected murder, but later died in hospital.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/9383975/Car-crash-mother-loses-unborn-baby.html

Very, very sad.

I wish both the parents, who are in a critical conditions a full and speedy recovery and that they can find some happiness in their lives in the future, where there will always be sadness in their hearts.  :'(

I agree it is easy to forget, but I've never had that problem when driving along, only when in a car park or pulling away after stopping at a shop and not concentrating. Within seconds I've realised and got back on my side of the road.  :-[ :-[

I have only done it twice in 23 years since I have been here :o Both times coming out of petrol stations. The first time I did it, I could see a concrete mixer heading towards me at a fair rate of knots. I swerved to miss the damn thing and the dog nearly fell out of the back window. :o :o Scary!
