You might gain experience in changing your maf  ;) ;) ;) Apparently mafs don't like the oil mist from the oiled filter .  ;) ;)

That particular air filter would do more harm than good.
It is oiled and will eventually knacker your MAF sensor.
For best performance all round, the standard air filter part no. 91149684 is your best bet.

Oops, bit slow - Andy is quite right, it's not just confined to Omega's, these K&N filters can damage MAF's on various other vehicles.

Id stick to standard from Vauxhall.. A lot of aftermarket are only half the thickness of the genuine ones :y

Hi  i have a 2.2 mig and i changed to this exact filter two years ago...it makes the motor sound a bit better  dont know about b.h.p.i have not had any trouble with maf meter, however i do agree with others on here that too much oil spray could damage the m.a.f....mine was already oiled by the manufacturer from new so i put it on as it was and no problem....i bought a cleaner kit for it and clean it and re oil it after 12 months and all is ok... so i do  definately prefer this to the original one fitted...this is of coarse is only my opinion.... :y

Ah, however I'm not sure if that one in your link is a genuine Vauxhall one. It may well be, but having a motaquip part number to me suggets it's an aftermarket one using the Vauxhall part number for reference.

Aftermarket filters, in some cases can be as good as genuine one's, but from my experience this is not the case with air filters.
I'd go to Vauxhall and buy one from them,
They cost £10.14 on trade club.
