Just had a good call out...

... Called out by a contract customer... Conversation with the call centre went like this:

"We've got an Iveco Stralis Tractor Unit with a ruptured tank that needs draining ASAP"

"Yep, I'll do it"

"You don't know where it is yet!"

"Can't be too far out of area... I'll do it"

"OK"

Just drained over 500L of good Diesel :y :y :y

Unfortunately I can't do that as I don't have a petrol retailers license ;)

It does get sold on for re-refining with the waste fuel anyway though and is worth over £100 to me :y

But I've got a diesel van :-X :-X

it's a shame you're so far away from me .............. my R320 is a diseasal  ::) ::) ::) (I've been to the low fuel light twice now, first time I filled up I got to £100.01 and it still wasn't quite full, 2nd time it only £95  :'()

Personally I would be having a chat with everyone I know who runs a diesel car. 75p per litre. Everybodys happy. ;)
Either that or keep it in some 200 litre drums and use it yourself.

Have to be careful selling it on ;)

But it has been put into fresh drums so it's not contaminated :y It may well end up in my heating tank with a bit of petrol too :y
