« on: 12 April 2008, 11:09:37 »

Got bored and decided to see what car insurance companys charge for different things,

i used one of them comparison websites and entered the same details in accept i made up an accident that wasnt my fault to see if the price went up.

heres the result of the first 3

more than  £1214.17 ---- £1071.60

ecar  1272.29 ----  £1272.29

kwick fit 1309.95 ----  £1150.62

first figure is with made up accident second is without it

cant beleive some insurance charge you more for having an accident that wasnt your fault  >:( >:(

its as if they're charging you for their work in the claim even though it should be recovered from the other side

They told me that "it indicates that I might be at risk". Like my car's obviously fitted with a cretin-magnet.

I guess I do do "risky" things like park by the CCTV camera in a car park. How was I supposed to know the guy would come to service it and drop his rather ladder across my bonnet. >:(
