Alarm fault on 2001 Elite Estate!

Hi!...What sort of a job would it be to disconnect alarm on 2001 Elite Estate?...Keeps going-off and reducing battery charge...Thanks.

Are you sure its the alarm going off & not the power sounder? Which is located under the scuttle, drivers side.

Note the powdersound goes off on its own (the car horn does not sound)

Hi just to add to the above my alarm(horn) went off the other night all by its self. It was not the powersounder as that went a long time ago. It turned out to be the switch thingy under the bonnet. I unplugged this and all is well again.. :y
