HDMI question .

Just bought a HMDI cable to connect the laptop to the tv . Now thing is its all connected and have the pc screen up on the tv "but" even though the pc is on max screen view its not coming up full screen on tv . Is there a way to maximize the pc to the tv screen size  :-\

Normally right click on Desktop > Screen Resolution > and have a play in there or maybe Auto Detect.

In the scaling drop down box it was set to Maintain aspect ratio .

The other 2 options are scale full screen and center image .

Sounds like it hasn't identified your television (or rather it's capabilities) correctly.

In the change the appearance screen it says detect or identify clicky option ..

Ill have a look , only got 75cm HDMI ...swmbo tried it first and was clicking all sorts of stuff without me knowing what was going on  ::)

Device manager gave me options but didnt do anything , so went to a blanc screen right click then the option connect to tv came up  :y full sceen oof now on tv  :o :y
