Not to my knowledge  :-\

I was a passenger once in an Astra when the ignition switch spectacularly decided to self-combust. Cabin completely filled with smoke in about 10 seconds :o

Fortunately we were able to switch off straight away and the fire didn't take hold.

AA man said it was a common occurrence with Vauxhalls but I can't say I have ever heard of another case :-\

Ignition switch is on the end of the lock barrel. I would take the cowl off and have a good look for signs of burning or overheating.
