« on: 09 August 2012, 15:33:02 »

Not too long ago lambdas and crank sensor were swapped the engine light is on again though  :o IIRC what I've read here cam sensor may be the guilty I can't be sure as Tech1 can't see and identify the ecu  :o Airbag and ABS ECUs OK, Engine ECU not found... :-[ What to do without being sure of faulty of cam sensor?  Any proposal please!  Thx

Have you got the Omega Specific cartridge in the Tech1? Is it a Tech1 or Tech1a?

....... Tech1 can't see and identify the ecu  :o Airbag and ABS ECUs OK, Engine ECU not found.........

Most unusual that. Have you tried selecting 94 Omega 2.5 to see it that will work? Could be a bad wire between ecu & Tech1 plug. Paper clip probably won't work either if that's the case. Hard to know where to go without a fault reading :(

Do you have any info in point of reprogramming ECU or make it reset ? Anyway paperclip test works  :y but useless as some oldie fault code are stored as well. I desconnected the ECU the codes to be deleted no result they are stored away...By the way how order does ecu store codes? How they are occurred and the last code happened the lastest, ain't it?
