Quite fancied going to this event ourselves, but unfortunately, I'm booked to work next weekend. :(

Doesn't appear to be any on-site camping (according to their website), though we'd have probably stayed at the Caravan Club site at nearby Baltic Wharf. Ashton Gate's easily accessible from there.

Enjoy and report back Alfie! ;)

Make sure you get to see one of the 'Night Glows' where the balloons are tethered to the ground and they light the burners. It's pretty cool!!  :)  and yes enjoy the Zider in Brizzle me luvver!!! :y

Hi all, just a update on what was a great long weekend at the fiesta,it really is a fantasic show, and if you take the kids take plenty of cash(HUGE FAIRGROUND).
Yes the local cider was superb, and the sun shined for 3 days, the only downside was the police loves to divert the traffic without any thought about where you want to go,as long as everyone as left Ashton Court. It's a nightmare at the end of the show, just to get out of the car parks.
But all in all a Great show, and brilliant weekend away in the van.

Hi Johnny,it's really worth the effort,we stayed at Gatcombe Farm, just the other side of Long Ashton.Left the show early on friday to grab some food and drink outside the van,and 88  balloons flew right over us,we must have had the best seats in the show.
