Daniel Hanan is a eurosceptic MEP, who writes in many newspapers about the short comings of the EU.

He has released a new book on the EU call "A Doomed Marriage" which is being serialized in the Daily Mail. It is very interesting how they manipulate power and how much of our money is given to charities and pressure groups to support EU proposals and vision.

"When he introduced the Bill to ratify the Lisbon Treaty in 2007, the then Foreign Secretary, David Miliband, made a great song and dance that it was backed by a whole range of independent organisations including the NSPCC, One World Action, Action Aid and Oxfam.

Yet every organisation he cited was in receipt of EU subventions. In a single year, Action Aid, the NSPCC, One World Action and Oxfam had among them received €43,051,542 (£33,855,355)."

£34m is hardly small change. So how much are the EU giving to charities including friends of the Earth to promote climate change. Remember this taxpayers money (where our EU net contribution is £50m per DAY) is on top of the £17bn we give to billionaire despots in overseas aid.  >:( >:( >:( >:(

Personally I would have thought a better title for the book would have been "Rotten to the core".

Vote UKIP.  :y
