Recently had " a new cam belt fitted "  2012 some 10 years since previous change if thats how I am reading it ? ::)

Unsure where the 02 date for belt came from though :o

 i noticed the cam belt bit....though i was going ga..ga..glad to see i am not the only one....vauxhall did say every 8 years..but because they had so much trouble with other models using the similar engine they covered their backsides and went bact to 40,000. :y

The second cambelt change, 2010, that's 8 years. It also says at the bottom, the time it should be changed, which was written as 8 years after the day it was changed.

I'm 99.9% Sure the mini facelift did have them especially the Elite not sure about MV6/CDX etc
