...A tried and tested method of syphoning petrol from an Omega fuel tank ( 60litres worth)

Got a small draper "pump" that is totally cac...

Anyone got anything better to use without getting a mouthful of petrol  :(

Had to drain Marie's tank from almost full when LPG'ing it. Remove the feed hose from the fuel pump plate on the tank. Connect a length of fuel hose and run it into an jerry can or another vehicle.

Remove fuel pump relay and bridge the two wide pins in the socket so the fuel pump runs continuously.   :y

funnell, bucket, screwdriver, hammer......

only works the once per tank though....   ;D

I normaly pop the output of the fuel filter off, connect a hose to the fuel filter and short the relay out like Kevin said...

I was thinking along these lines but it sounded to simple and stupid so i thought against it. looks like i was wrong :(

Now has two miggs in our house hold. Both 2.0ltr 16v lpg'd. a MFL and a FL.

Think i will go with the mechanical method although if i get pee`d off at work today hammer and screwdriver may make a guest apperance...

Decided that the oil cooler failure is not economical to repair given the tin worm on the rear arches  :-/

Its here by being broken into tiny little pieces  :-[

Just make sure you're on the right fuel line (the one that goes to the filter, or connect to the filter itself as MarkDTM says).
