New clutch
« on: 24 August 2012, 18:05:44 »

Woah! New clutch and slave cylinder and this clutch is almost as light as the one in my 1.2 Ibiza.

And so much easier=cheaper getting this done than my Rover 75.

The gearbox needs an oil change (144K) and I'll do the diff while I'm at it - couldn't find the specs in the handbook - anyone know what (and how much) to put in each?

Diff will be fine on EP90 hypoid oil or similar assuming it's not an LSD (very few are). I would guess that about a litre will do the job.

Gearbox takes an ATF-like oil, if memory serves. Ideally get the real deal from a main dealer. Have a look in the maintenance guides. I'm sure it's there somewhere.
