best laid plans fail
« on: 30 August 2012, 20:22:07 »

Well wifeys not talking to me and neither is doggy

what should have been a normal day has turned to shite trying to complete a huge conservatory with 3mtr lengths of glass in 50mph winds and bloody rain just to make the glass even harder to hold on to actually 3210mm :o

client due back off holidays on sunday expecting a water tight conservatory, not finished but fully glazed

so what should be a relaxing friday loading the car for Newent will be a frosty farwell from wifey as i head back to work with the hope that the bloody weather holds out and i finish early enough to still make the trip to Newent

told wifey its a few bits of glass :-X over 9mtrs long and ditto windows all with openers and two sets of french doors plus the abutment to an existing tiled roof and form a gulley. If we finish it i will be amazed. Words arse in gear come to mind an i am not talking bondage

can see this all going tits up and either a very late friday arrival and a kip in the car or an early saturday arrival at best.

what time is everyone normally up to on the friday evening or wake up on the saturday

just to add to my best day yet guess who forgot all about his vat return due end of this month :-[ :-[ at least no one is talking to me so i can get on ...its gonna be a long night at Lovejoy mansions

hope to see you all at Newent :y :y

totally agree with that but from my experience they do far better job than the so called experts or maybe thats just me but then again i am not a true builder but a shopfitter which probably makes me a very slow builder but at least i dont keep going back to  a job to put it right ;)

empolying a builder buddy to give me a hand at the moment as luckily i got a lot on, great bloke but its doing my furking head in at times with quality of finish

but its all good fun, doggy was talking to me again but now hes been fed hes gone back to ignoring me with wifey so guess its time to unstick wifeys face from the sofa where she has fell asleep and put her to bed :y
