Rob the actual twin switch then or the whole unit? if I have light on as described rear fog comes on, so switch it off, then turn all light on rear fog will be on again.

When you fitted your front fogs did you replace the complete lightswitch or just the lower bank of two?

The rear fogs should be interlocked so that you cannot switch them on without also having dip beam on (or maybe just sidelights :-\).

If your fog light switch is stuck 'on' then they will behave as described.

My answer was a bit brief last night  ::) What happens if you have dip beam on & you try switching the fogs using the push switches (ie does the switch feel right?)

Well think I have sorted it, the switch bank was the type that have a seperate LED inside so when you turn it on you have a coloured indication on the switch as well as on the dash, LED is blown on both, swopped it for non LED and problem is resolved.  The rear fog did feel a bit strange and took a couple of pushed to go off.
