Easy enough to change plug, but that lacks the MIC plug. Although sometimes you have to use a Nokia mic anyway - my Elite uses the car's mic, and its a shade faint.

Ok, forget the adaptor above, ive found an autoleads 06-102b which has the 4pin connector on it,
+12v perm
+12v igni
-0v earth
mute

so obviously i will have to connect the nokia speaker to the nokia brain unit as the only connection to the HU is telemute? correct?

Also, in regards to TrafficMaster, if i remove the tm loom completely, will it affect anything to to with the telematics loom and muting the HU?

Don't know if it's of any use to you as it's not that close to you, but I got my auto-leads from Marston Audio in Oxford.  :y

Everything correct.

Cheers TB, ive got no problem installing it myself, i just wanted to make sure i get the right adaptor for the telematics connector, so will order one soon. I won the carkit on fleabay for a grand total of a fiver, it was advertised as a Nokia 610, but on delivery, found it is actually a 616, the model up, but i might not install this one as i dont like the idea of a little display which i dont really need, so im probably going to get a ck-7w or a ck-100, but cheers for the offer of install, im going to tackle this one on my own this time  ::) :P

You don't have any telematics wiring. You (hopefully) have telephone pre-wiring ;)
