I WENT OUT AND TURNED IT OFF. THEN NOTHING FOR 6 HOURS THEN AT 11 PM THE ALARM WAS GOING OFF AND I WENT OUTSIDE TO THE CAR AND YEP THE STEREO WAS ON AGAIN. ANY IDEAS? CHRIS

Stop shouting mate (CAPS!!!)

Suggest 1) ditch your powersounder and then 2) try unplugging underbonnet alarm switch if still alarming

The unit coming on is known to happen, though I don't really know why. Making sure you have the code, you could try removing it for a while, like a 'reboot'
No guarantees, but may help  :y

As johnny2112 says, if you have code, remove ccr2006 unit for a couple of hours.

This might help I could not get my unit out to try and clear my problem which was that I kept loosing stations anyway I pulled out fuse 12 and fuse 7 and then left it overnight. The following day put fuses back and retuned the radio and all is well :y
