Huge Thanks to James V6CDX
« on: 22 September 2012, 19:00:39 »

As per title, a huge thank you to James who popped over today to work his magic on my sick mig.

It was suffering a bad oil leak, coolant leak and a nasty knocking/tapping noise in time with the revs.  :(

My coolant leak turned out to be a faulty gasket on the water pump. Without a second thought, he drove down to the local shop and got a replacement waterpump and proceeded to refit. Job done, happy days.

Next job, oil leak.  This was down to a loose oil filter. Due an oil changed anyway, the filter was removed and replaced and correctly tightened and fresh oil poured in  :)

After refitting everything back and checking all was done, he started her up......bingo, the knocking/tapping noise no longer present ;D ;D ;D ;D

So James, thanks again for your time and fixing her, I am really grateful mate :y
