proposals
« on: 04 October 2012, 20:49:15 »

I see the government are coming up with proposals that people that hire their cars out for weddings etc.[mainly stretch limo drivers/owners I suspect]will have to undergo the same rigours that "mere"taxi drivers have to,namely a background check taxi licence and all that. Also the cars themselves would have to undergo a taxi type m.o.t.every 6 or 12 months.Auction houses etc. are expecting that if this takes effect there will be a glut of DS420's and other such limos hitting the market, could be some real bargains in the offing!

Do you read Practical Classic as well?   :y :y

Sadly this idea would take a lot of Classic Cars out of the wedding / special occasion market... :( :( :(
