Throttle lube
« on: 07 October 2012, 00:15:55 »

Hi peeps, can anyone recommend what sort of lube I should use for my throttle cable and bodies? I've had them off loads of times obviously when cleaning and doing work. I think the TBs are sticking a bit, which is annoying when pulling away due to it being automatic. Will a light GP oil be ok? Oh, and grease for the cable, the spring bit? Thanks peeps.

TB's rarely stick, as the spring is too strong, unless its lose, if so clean with Carb Cleaner, chances are your ICV needs cleaning.
