What sort of cost ?

How much sshould I allow to replace the coil pack and all the HT leads on a 1998 2.5 please.

What sort of money would a Main Stealer charge opposed to a smaller independant ?

do it yourself m8
works out a lot cheaper

vaux about £80ph labour
independant about £35ph

leads -bosch ones from ebay around 40 quid,or 200 from vx.dis unit (coil pack) not sure,i got a used one from ebay for a tenner and it works fine ,but i took a gamble and got lucky.

I would buy a Bosch dis pack off Ebay which will cost about £80

Coil packs: genuine are Bosch and about £100 from dealer. From Ebay (new) about £70-80.

Make sure you get the right one - there are a few different types.

HT leads are a stupid price from the dealer - like £100 for 3 cylinders. Bosch parts from Ebay £35 to £40.
