Omega bangers

I know its like killing one of our own but did anyone else attend the event of the year at Foxhall stadium Ipswich to see two saloons and one estate Omega perform well at the World banger final,the estate lasted particularly well , the meeting was eventually won by a MK1 Granada with a very fast engine fitted! I have a picture of one of the saloons i'll post it later(if it doesn't offend!)

 :-X cant read the badges on the back but looks like a cd  :-\ Its not ralf as he's a m/fl elite , the car looks like it could take a knock or 2 and probably like mud off a shovel with all the excess weight dumped ...

Impossible to tell what spec it would have been, as everything has been removed... The badge on the back says 2.0 16v though.  :y
