Cam Sensor?
« on: 15 November 2012, 17:28:42 »

On the 2.2 LPG, started engine. Idle higher than normal, no response when the throttle was pressed. Spanner light came on, switched off. Restarted, same. Switched off, waited minute or so. Started again, all ok.

Not read codes yet, but thinking cam sensor. Although wondering if the throttle body needs a clean. As its been a year or so since last off.

Tunnie, understand you are talking about a 2.2 here but  can I ask if the high idle was around the 1200 rpm mark . ~This is exactly what happened to my 2.6 earlier this week .Car cut out , reluctently re started but would  only  idle at 1200 rpm  & no throttle response . Switched off  & left it 5 mins  then it started as normal & has been fine since  :-\ :-\
