Best option is to put genuine GM diff oil, experienced to be the most suitable and simply the best solution  :y And if needed, LSD additive from dealers also  :y

BOA90LS from opie oils is good, the LSD additive appears to help the seal lubrication.

Had to replace the diff on mine a couple of months ago. Filling up from empty, standard omega diff oil is now NLA. The dealer system directs you to use the LSD diff oil but it's a very roundabout process which took the parts dept about 20mins of searching, eventually ending up on the Bury St Edmunds dealership system to locate what it was and where some would be. The assistant might direct you to some 75W140 stuff but that's a red herring, suitable IIRC only for the Lotus Carlton.
