I think this is a great film, the banjo scene is very compelling and always memorable.

The "squeal like a pig" scene I think is horrific, but funny at the same time. A man experiencing what women go through all too often.  Or am I being sadistic?

First saw this when I was a kid and too young to understand what was going on in the woods. But I remember I watched it and thought "Burt Reynolds is pretty cool, I want a bow and arrow when I grow up"

Then I saw Smokey and the Bandit and thought "Burt Reynolds is pretty cool, I want a Trans Am when I grow up"

I'm sure there's a message in there somewhere about what you should and shouldn't let your kids watch and what I could have acheived in life with better role models!
